For context, Parchisi Star Online is based on a popular Spanish board game called Parchis. It puts 4 players in a board game where you have to rotate around a cross-shaped board and get 4 of your figures to the center first in order to win. It is quite a simple game to understand and you can play it in just a few minutes while fully understanding the rules. Online Is Where It’s At
The main focus of the game is the online multiplayer. You can play up to 4 people in a match either via Facebook Connect or using your Gmail. You can even play as a Guest if you like but you won’t reap any benefits with just staying anonymous.

You can also chat with anybody in the game. No voice chat though so it’d be much better if you do that on Discord with friends instead. Just expect a lot of Spanish-speaking players. After all, the game is primarily catered to Latino players.
Multiple Themes To Choose From
As soon as you start the game, all the items are unlocked. These include tokens, icons, trinkets, board themes, animations, and sound effects. You can choose to interchange them at any time if you like, but the other players won’t see your theme, sound effect, and animations for some reason. At least they can still check out your tokens so at least you have something to flex about.
Is There Offline Mode?
Of course, if the game includes an offline mode, then that just destroys the purpose of its own title, no? There are quite a few offline mode moments in the game but you can only do so with tutorial mode. Also, the AI is atrocious as they seem to not know anything about how the game works. Even a 5-year-old kid who never played the game can play it properly in just 5 minutes.
Why Does It Look The Same?
Technically, Parchisi Star is just the same game as any other version except with additional unlocked content. The similarity it bears along with other games before and after it is due to the free app source that it uses to code the game.
Can I Play It On PC?
Yes, the game is fully playable on PC. Just a quick Google search of it and you’ll find Parchisi Star for desktop. It uses the same system as the handheld edition including Facebook and Gmail logins.
